When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. How about …When life hands you lemons, make cucumber water.
- Use an unexpected resource to your advantage — Is business slower than last year? If you have extra time on your hands, focus your energies into marketing your business to current clients and prospects. Look at how your business offers solutions.

- Seek feedback from different sources — Give yourself the opportunity to solicit feedback from different sources. Instead of asking your sales team how are sales, ask your clients how are their sales and discuss ways that you can help increase their revenue. solutions.
The lesson I’ve learned is to make the most of any given situation. I didn’t expect a bumper crop of cucumbers this summer but to my surprise I’m now a real fan of cucumber water. I made the most of the situation and even though it’s a small change of behavior, it’s to my benefit because now I know each July – September I’ll have cucumber water instead of lemon water.
