Spirit of St. Louis Squash Foundation — 2024 High School Players of the Year

The Spirit of Saint Louis Squash Foundation is proud to announce the 2024 winners of the High School Squash Players of the Year, awarded in conjunction with US Squash.

2024 Award Winners

National Players of the Year (Musick and Ashmore Trophy)

  • Men’s: Rishi Srivastava (Berwyn, Pennsylvania)
  • Women’s Co-Players: Caroline Fouts (Rye, New York) and Riya Navani (Milpitas, California)

Eastern Region Players of the Year (Summers Trophy)

  • Women’s: Caroline Eielson (Boston, Massachusetts)
  • Men’s: Rishi Srivastava (Berwyn, Pennsylvania)

Midwest Region Players of the Year (Spence Trophy)

  • Men’s: Huzaifa Ibrahim (Houston, Texas)
  • Women’s: Dixon Hill (Waite Hill, Ohio)

Western Region Players of the Year (Arneson Trophy)

  • Women’s: Riya Navani (Milpitas, California)
  • Men’s: Zane Patel (Palo Alto, California)

St. Louis Players of the Year (Avery Cup)

  • Men’s: Sameer Shafqat (Chesterfield, Missouri)
  • Women’s: Bridget Clennan (Ladue, Missouri)

Annual Gala — April 20, 2024

The Foundation presented these awards at its Annual Gala in Saint Louis on April 20, 2024. In addition to the winners and their families, the Foundation hosted three world-ranked professional squash players — John White, Amanda Sobhy, and James Willstrop — who provided exhibition matches and shared their experiences with attendees at the Racquet Club in St. Louis.

Foundation Chairman Craig W. Ashmore said: “The Foundation is honored to recognize the dedication, hard work and talent of these high school athletes. They excel in squash, a challenging sport that dates back over 150 years. We look forward to sharing the weekend with these athletes, their families and the squash professionals at the Racquet Club in St. Louis.”
